I want to be a country cowgirl ?

Ok so this is my moms account but I want to know how to get to be a cowgirl. Sounds easy but here's the senario.... I joined FFA this year and I loved it. I live in a small town very involved in ag. Except for me. I live in town and have no farm connections. I want to get a horse. I want to ride and train. I want to wear cowgirl boots and walk down the hall at school and not have the snotty cowgirls go uh why is she wearing those. I've judged horses this year and done well. I placed 1st and 5th. I have a country boyfriend. He raises cows& I like that too. I ride with my friend sometime but I'm not very good. I want to learn. And I want to learn to not be scared of going fast which I love.... So what to do?????
